We understand there are many types of freeholds and that each investor may have a particular set of purchasing criteria or preferred locations. Some investors prefer to purchase freeholds with short leases with marriage value (less than 80 years) and some prefer longer leases. Some like the inclusion of the maintenance and insurance obligations in the leases, whereas some do not. Some may have no interest in the very long 999 year leases or freeholds containing leasehold houses. Some may have a requirement to include a minimum annual ground rent income or a minimum number of leases.
